What “Being Organized” Means to Me…

Fall is just around the corner, and I don’t know about you but I cannot wait for those cool, fall nights.  The patio is calling my name — its been neglected since summer started — I cannot handle 97 degrees and 85% humidity.

I love spring and fall, but fall is my favorite season — I actually get the Fall Cleaning Bug (the Spring Cleaning Bug’s cousin)!  Storing away and cleaning — preparing for the colder months.  Mums, pumpkins, and hay will be making their way to a home near you!

But back to cleaning and organizing… I love cleaning and I love organized living.  What is organized living and is it something that everyone could benefit from? I think organized living is never losing your keys, always knowing where something is, keeping track of commitments and never being late. Can it be exhausting? Sure! Can it create a structured lifestyle of always cleaning up after yourself and working towards your to-do list instead of your fun list? Absolutely! But being organized in many aspects of life leads to successful individuals.

Another term for organization of life is “Plan of Attack”. Having a plan of attack for every day allows us to become accomplished individuals and work towards goals. Nothing is more exhilarating than achieving personal or professional goals. Plans of attack also allow us to control our lives by choosing to succeed, rather than allowing life to control us.

What does “Being Organized” mean to you?  Do you have a “Plan of Attack” — maybe its daily or monthly, maybe you have one for the year?  Id love to hear from you!
