Who’s That Girl?

Who's That Girl

That girl would be me, Jennifer.  I believe I was born to be an organizer.  We all have God given talents and gifts; mine was organization.  I thrive on being organized; I even color coordinated my crayons as a child.  {a little over the top?}

I’m a small town southern girl who grew up in Dallas, NC.  Yes there is another Dallas; it is located about 30 miles west of Charlotte.  I spent my college years at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte studying accounting and marketing.  I entered the “real world” and realized it was not all sunshine and rainbows.  I spent several years searching for my purpose all the while missing the large blinking neon light that said “You love to organize”.

In 2010, I embraced my passion and set off on this little journey that led me to “Pure & Simple”.

Pure & Simple Organizing is a professional organizing company based in Charlotte, NC.  Our mission is to inspire others to live a less complicated life through better organization.  Mounds of physical clutter can weigh heavy on our minds.  I specialize in giving someone the opportunity to increase their quality of life by cleaning up and out!

Being organized is a way of life, and it can drastically improve your quality of life.  I am naturally organized and realize this is not always the case, so I intend to help change that one person and family at a time.  It is amazing to see the stress roll away when someone’s home is finally a retreat and no longer a stressful storage unit.   I consider it such an honor & privilege to have the chance to work with such amazing client each year!

My goal is to help you get it done and make it fun!

Now about the blog.  Pure & Simple Blog began as a placeholder for the Pure & Simple website.  I had no idea what I was doing or what to even write about.  This blog has become such a vital part of my business over the last 2 years.  My website placeholder grew from a necessity to a hobby to a love affair with blogging.  This is where you will be able to get to know me, my wonderful boyfriend Raymond, and our little dog Cody.

The blog follows my life of running a business, organizing with clients, and my slight obsession with Goodwill and thrifting.  And that’s just “work”.

It also follows my love of cooking, yoga, regional travel, and aspirations to be the best decorator, sewer, crocheter, and master of all Pinterest projects.  My life is never boring or at a standstill.  It is my challenge to be the best “me”.

I hope to humor you with my random musings while inspiring you to read more, travel more, cook more, exercise more, thrift more, and craft more.

You name it and there is something for everyone!  Welcome and let the organizing begin!

Thanks for stopping by!  Check out our Facebook page as well! 🙂

  2. Jennifer,

    I just saw your layout in the South Park Magazine and loved the mirror, wreath and bow. Please let me know where you purchased them. Loved the bench as well. Is that from a store around here?

    Also, I have been looking for an organizer for a friend of mine and would like to show her the article. Do you charge by the hour? What is your rate?

    Thank you very much!
