Spring Cleaning…

Who doesnt get the urge the clean, clear, and lighten when the weather perks up?  If you raised your hand, I might be a little worried. 😉

I thought you might like some ideas on how to get some cleaning done {quickly} on a beautiful weekend day.

KITCHEN:

  • Soak drip pans and oven knobs in warm soapy water.
  • Sanitize the sink.
  • Disinfect the disposal.
    • Drop in a cut up lemon, some salt, and a few ice cubes.
    • Lemon=deodorizes, Ice & Salt=clean away residue.

BATHROOM:

  • If you have shower doors, rub on Rain-X Original Glass Treatment.
    • Process is the same as when you use on your car.
  • Replaceyour shower liner.
    • Goodbye icky mold.  Hello $6 liner from Target.

LAUNDRY ROOM:

  • Add a change jar for those items you find in pockets.
  • Hang a bullentin board.  Pin up solo socks missing their mates.

EXTRA STUFF:

  • Make those diamonds sparkle.
    • Soak in vodka.
    • …OR…
    • Soak in 2 parts hot tap water, 1 part ammonia.
    • While soaking, scrub witha  soft makeup brush or baby’s toothbrush.
    • Rinse with warm water.  Pat dry.
  • Remove pesky shoe stickers.
    • Blast with hair dryer for 30 seconds.
    • Peel away.
  • Stop jewelry from turning skin green.
  • Seal insides with clear nail polish.

What are your cleaning tips and tricks? 🙂
